2. Anqa Anqa is a benevolent, immortal Firebird. She may not be from the Sandsea, but she travels here from the "Place where the Sun Sets" whenever a Pharaoh is about to pass the throne to their successor. Anqa praises or admonishes the old Pharaoh based on how they ruled before imparting advice and wisdom to the next in line. Out of gratitude, the Pharaoh and their Lectors help her achieve rebirth and purification through flames.
